As a self-taught artist in the modern day, making a name for yourself, (and a living) has become extremely difficult. I've made my way through various careers, such as sales, real estate, etc.. but none of them truly allowed me to feel satisfied or express myself. Art and creation was always calling my name. I've painted all my life, but as time has went on, I've realized how I want to dedicate my career, and my life, to creating. Chaplin in Color is my way of doing that. Not only do I want to create art, I want to encourage and assist others in doing so as well. Through my experience in working for mobile paint companies, paint-n-sips, and teaching art classes for personal connections I've made, I was able to create Chaplin in Color, a unique approach to paint classes I haven't seen before. I also combined another passion of mine - Silent Films, particularly ones starring Charlie Chaplin, hence the name. His films illustrate an old yet true cliche, which is 'A picture can paint a thousand words', and I hope for Chaplin in Color to do the same.
